The client retains control over the trust during his or her lifetime and can do as he or she pleases with the assets held in the trust. Revocable trusts do not protect the client's assets from creditors. A revocable trust can be amended at any time and we strongly encourage our clients to actively review their will and trust so that any necessary revisions can be made based on their situation.
